I feel so helpless and cheated

So my car was due for service, on thursday I took it through to the VW in Rivonia to get it serviced. On my previous service before this one Luyanda who has been servicing my car discussed with me that on my next service I would need to replace my rear brakes so I was prepared for that. I picked the car up on Thursday afternoon when I fetched Luyanda and I had our norma discussions after the service. So I specifically asked him, is there anything that needs attention that you think we might need to replace in the near future or next service and he said no. On my way back home I was driving with my sister inlaw and we could smell something like a burning clutch but we were surprised because there was mo traffic so who could be burning the clutch. When we get home we realise that it is actually my car that smells, so I woke up on Friday morning and took it back to Hatfield VW in Rivonia to get that sorted out and I left the car. When I picked the car up Luyanda **** to me and said that there was nothing smelling there, the reason I am saying he **** is that after that I could not smell the same smell I have been smelling on my car when I park it, fine. Then he had a thousand things that he said needed to be replaced in the car, so I was shocked because I specifically asked the previous day and he said no. I drive out of there as I was rushing because I was going to spend the weekend out of town. I could feel my clutch pedal was stiff mind you I hadn’t left it that way. I leave the car for the weekend come back on Sunday decide to take the car for a drive as I needed to confirm this. Yes, the clutch is stiff and even makes a funny noise when you press it as if its scratching against something. Now I was angry, because I can’t keep going to VW now I also need to work. I picked up a call and call hatfield vw and requested to speak to someone responsible foe the service department. I spoke to him and this was monday and explained everything, so he promised to get my problem sorted and told me to come kn Tuesday mornong and bring my car to Neel some technical what what. I brought the car on Tuesday and left it. I came back now even more things need to he replaced on the car, so I dont think he got my concern. I did not say things are perfect with my car as it is a 2014 model, however my problem was things are not as I left them before the service. Infact my clutch was never like this until friday when I took it in for them to sort out the smell I coulld amell after the service. I feel so helpless and cheated. I do not know whether I am treated like this because I am a female and they assume that I know nothing about cars. The worst part is I work close to the Hatfield VW in Bryanston, but because I have been taking my car to Rivonia where I felt comfortable and thought Im safe and everything would be done on my best interest as a frequent customer. I am now at a point where I even dread driving my car because it is such a nightmare to drive.
