Golf 7 Oil Consumption and Poor Workmanship
I had an oil consumption problem with my Golf 7 2015. This is a common problem with the batch of cars, I took it to Hatfield VW Rivonia, where they diagnosed the problem and offered the solution of opening the engine and replacing the pistols, I asked if they had done this before and they rep**** YES.
They performed the task and same day as I took the car from them, I noticed the car was cutting off power and I reported it and they rep**** that they won't do anything as there hasn't been EPC alarms, also on the same day the Engine light came on with temperature alarms, they came and took the car and later reported that the cooling system failed and it was replaced.
After that the car was still having the power cuts, and eventually gave the EPC and Engine alarm, I drove it back and they claimed this was caused by spark plugs.
Then shortly after that the engine started leaking oil, on this alone I took four trips to the dealership, and it is somehow stopped,
Then again the power cuts continued, I reported it and the same story that it needs to show the EPC alarm, I finally did and I took it back and then they replaced all spark plugs and that didn't fix the error, I am still driving the car with the EPC and Engine alarms, the car is shaking even when idling, it gets worse when driving and I can't drive it past 60km/h
