Failure to resolve fault

I have had a VW POLO for the last 4 years, towards the end of last year (2015) I filled up the car with Diesel for a trip to KZN. It soon became apparent that the fuel was dirty and effecting the performance of the car. On my return I contacted my insurance company, who agreed that they would assist me. They required a full diagnostic report on the problem.<br> I took the car to VW Hatfield for the diagnostic report, which was then forwarded to the Insurers, who agreed to the repair. <br> The car subsequently went in for the repair work. One day after receiving the car back, the car still had problems as there was no power once in 3rd gear. The car was taken back to the VW Hatfield who now said that due to the original problem there were minute particles affecting the fuel pump, which had only now become apparent. It would cost me in the region of R30 000 to repair the fuel pump problem.<br> Surely it is not the first time they have had a case of dirty fuel and from experience surely they should have carried out a more comprehensive diagnosis. No test drive seemed to have happened. Now VW Hatfield takes no responsibility and I have to foot the bill, which is also excessive.<br> They not interested
