⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Customer Service – VW Hatfield Melrose ARC I would like to take a moment to recognise and sincerely thank the team at VW Hatfield Melrose ARC for the exceptional service and support I received with my 2025 Volkswagen Polo Vivo. After experiencing an unexpected 5th-gear problem, my vehicle had to be transported from Cape Town to Johannesburg for further assessment and repair. It was certainly not an ideal situation, and naturally, I had concerns about how everything would be handled. However, what stood out to me was the commitment shown by the Hatfield Melrose team in seeing the matter through to a positive conclusion. A special thank you to Willem Aucamp, who assisted me when I purchased the vehicle, for his continued assistance and support. I would also like to acknowledge Robby, the Workshop Foreman, for his involvement in getting the technical issue resolved and ensuring that the vehicle was properly attended to. The team went beyond simply repairing the vehicle. They also took care of the arrangements and expenses involved in returning my vehicle to Cape Town, including the return of their loan/courtesy vehicle. I am genuinely delighted with the outcome. The vehicle is driving beautifully, the gearbox is operating smoothly, and it feels great to have my car back. For me, this experience demonstrated that good customer service isn't only about what happens when everything goes right — it's about how a dealership responds when something goes wrong. VW Hatfield Melrose ARC ultimately took ownership of the situation and made sure it was resolved. Thank you once again to Willem, Robby, and the entire Hatfield Melrose ARC team for your professionalism, assistance and commitment. Treat your customers better, communication is the bare minimum
I've been a VW customer over 15 years and this dealership has to have the poorest service levels. It's been a month and I can count in 1 hand the number of times I've been called for an update. I got the car back after 2½ weeks and it broke down after 30km and when I took it back I was given the runaround and even told it's not under warranty. Um? If it broke down in a day, it wasn't fixed! I call repeatedly for updates, I don't even know what is going on with the car. What's the problem, can it be fixed, ETA of the fix, I paid R20k for gearbox issue and I don't even know if the car is still at the dealership, if there's a technician looking at it.

Great service to a first time car owner
I recently bought a new VW Polo Vivo which I got from the VW Melrose dealership. I was assisted by the dealer Walo Nkuna who was top class from the moment I walked through their doors. Walo made my first car purchase experience a smooth one and I truly appreciate all his help from day one.
