Very unprofessional customer service

I wish to highlight my disappointment in the manner in which my matter was handled by Dannie from Hatfield CID. On 17 July 2018 I was involved in a vehicle accident in Lynwood Road. CID and Metro police on bicycles came to the scene to take statements from all 3 cars involved . They promised to send us AR numbers before end of business. Indeed around 11 I got a call from a constable at Hatfield CID and he provided me with an AR number. He advised that for AR report I must go to Schoeman . Indeed I went to Schoeman and I was told the AR number I was given wa incorrect and I need to go back to the CID/Metro to provide me with the correct one . It’s been a bumpy ride since then. I called and was referred to Dannie who promised to provide me with details of the police on duty on the day and to this day I don’t have that information. This information is critical for insurance purposes. I’m not sure whether it’s lack of emotional intelligence on the part of Hatfield CID or they are just unhelpful .
