Materialistic Churches

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this church. The way this church has treated me, my mother (state pensioner) and my son that is still at school is actually nothing short of a disgrace and toxic. Once you have financial problems that can not be sorted out overnight unfortunately, which they cannot seem to understand, everything has procedures and takes time. Unfortunately we have had to ask for help from this church that we are members of or shall I say I was a member of the church. so every time you get help the pastor has to visit you and you are literally placed on the "spot" and you have to provide ideas how you are going to sort out your financial problems. Unfortunately my problems are in a legal process, I cannot rush. This church will help you up to a point and the throw you and your family under the bus even if your problems have not been sorted out. This is the same church that when me and my wife were leaders in the church we were the 'goods' and everything was fine. One dark day things went wrong in our marriage and immediately this church abandoned me, never even got a phone call to hear am I ok, they just used us, I just had to "forgive" this church, which I did and remained a member, don't really know why. I do know one thing that it took this church to cure me of the church and churches for good.
