Breakfast and Champagne cruise minus the food

Such a disappointment... We organised a bachelorette champagne breakfast cruise for 14 girls. At R445 p /p including breakfast and champagne, we thought we were going to treat these girls to a magical experience..

Food: There wasn't enough food for all the guests on board, with a self service buffet style breakfast the portions were not controlled and we were "lucky" to find food left to put on our plates. The staff just shrugged their shoulders when we asked if there were any extra food on board. (Later on we were told by the manager it was because we dished up late, but we were on the top level and came down as soon as they called us for the food).

Empty promises: The price included cake and balloons for a special occasion. On the day, there was however no cake and balloons available. The company offered to repay us a mere R100 due to their error. They fail to appreciate the fact that the cake and balloons were part of making the morning special. Even though this gesture is not appropriate to say the least, we have not since received any commitment from them to make the said payment.

Afterwards: When asked for a refund on the food costs we were told that the owners of this company apparently felt that it was our fault that we did not get any food and that they don't have anything to apologize for..

For that price per person - we expected more and felt that it was a total *******. Not to mention how the management dealt with it afterwards.
