**********!!! Hartees Penthouse 3and6 via Booking.com

Hartees Penthouse 3and6 are a bunch of ******** and con artists, parading as a legit establishment. I made my booking for a stay in December, through the Booking.com app and believed that it was legit.

On the app the accommodation stated that payment for the stay is only required on the 26th of December, a few days away from when I was due to arrive. They had also indicated that an amount of R2k is payable upon arrival as a damage deposit, which is Refundable is all is in order at the end of your stay.

Fast forward to a few days after my booking was confirmed, I was hounded to make payment for the damage deposit to ensure that I will not be canceling. I had a back and forth with the supposed supplier as I was not in agreement with them wanting money b4 I arrived at the property... But was convinced to make the payment in order to secure my booking. After that pmt was made, they started hounding me about when I would be making pmt for my stay. I advised that I would make payment during the the course of December.

FastTrack to October, I was shocked to be advised that my booking had been canceled by the property. This without any mention of the refund of the money I already paid to the property, which they acknowledged receipt of. I have followed up with them numerous times now and no one is responding to my communication anymore. Worst of all is that the contact number goes straight to the answering machine when you try to call them. Previously when they wanted the money, they would respond in less than 24 hrs, now it's almost a week and no one is responding to my mails and correspondence on the app.

These people are a bunch of ******** disguising as a legit business on the app. I am yet to receive the money that is owed to me as I did not make use of their property, yet they are keeping my money. They are just looking to loot people their hard earned money, who are desperate for a break away from the buzz of the city. They disservice is appalling to say the least!!!
