DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED, DON'T BOOK HERE!!!

Deeply disappointed. Don't let the pictures fool you! In our opinion, the pictures do not resemble the actual place. Definitely not clean (just pull back the bed covers and you will see the disgusting stains on the sheets) with a foul and disgusting odour in the room! Furniture is old and needs to be replaced. We were looking forward to a relaxing escape, but had to find different accommodation as we feel the hygiene was not up to standard.

We found accommodation with the same pricing per night, and Lake Hotel could not even compare.. Which indicates that the guest's experience is of no importance to them.

We did take the issues up with management where we were basically told that they "are a low budget 2 star motel and if we wanted something more upmarket we should have booked into a guesthouse or resort" .
