Buying your first Harley Davidson

The first bike I bought was supposed to be a new Street 750.Upon investigation it was found the bike was a 2015 model registered as a 2016.Full price was paid. The first bike suffered damages to the amount of R16.000 for which Harley cannot produce job cards or actual work carried out on the bike. Upon checking the invoice it was clear that almost R11.000 worth of repairs had not been done and the technician had resigned. Upon questioning the year of the bike the dealer agreed to replace with the correct model though demanded I pay in R10.000 for the change even though the job cards to justify the R16.000 repair to the first bike could not be provided and to date have not be provided. 9 months later I brought he Street 750 back to trade in on an Iron 883. The salesman incorrectly advised me on the trade in bike as a straight swop and the manager now said I had to pay in additionasl R10.000 for the black 883 iron. Finally in discussion I agreed on the miitray green 883 iron and paperwork was completed When the bike was delivered on the Monday I was tiold liscencing and registration was done and Monday I would have the bike. The bike delivered was not the bike agreed upon as it was Camel in colour. The bike was not liscenced, broken control panel, no registration papers and with GP plates. The bike was filthy and had had an expired liscence on it. According to MOI I have 5 days to lodge a complaint which I did , I was told the that I would now need to pay in additional R10.000 for the black 883 iron which the salesman incorrectly agreed was the trade in. After challenging Harley Cape Town they said they will not agree to anything other than to give me back my legal trade in bike Today 3 weeks later,i still do not have liscence and registration and no one has contacted me. This is what I want, I want the original 883 Iron black that was agreed as the straight trade in ' I have paid R16.000 Iin repairs which cannot be validated , R10.000 for the Street **********

which is what I paid for, they invoiced a 2015 model an registered it as a 2016.

I have now been told the 883 delivered to me is not even owned by Harley it is owned by the Bank and yet they ave tken possession of my bike, that is *****. That is why no liscencing and registration can be provided. That's not my problem, all documents signed reflect Harlry as the owner as this is *****.
