How long is a piece of string? How much to provide a borehole? No clear answer!

Poor quotes scribbled on paper, don't invoice as quoted and won't quote you for the entire job, so each phase is more cost.... I like to know final cost of the service/product I am buying (I am aware that drill depth is variable so accept that can change!)
