Tricks drunk customers from their bar into making drunken purchases and then refuses to refund them
They treat the South African constitution as a suggestion instead of a requirement. A friend drunk out of her mind bought a jersey there and in trying to return it, we were told they would not refund her but would rather force an exchange on her. This violates section 40 of the CPA. The cashier who sold the jersey admitted that my friend was so drunk that she had to print a receipt so her sober self can track the purchase. My friend lacked capacity to enter into a contractual agreement with the store. Least of all for a R1500 hoodie.
