Ruined Birthday

I had called Thursday the 8th February 2018 to make a reservation for my birthday which we were going to celebrate on the 9th February 2018 only to be told that we did not have to make a reservation. I insisted on the reservation and was told that there would definitely be space and that I should just show up.

On my arrival on the 9th February 2018, I was surprised to see that the venue was closed due to a private function. I then requested to speak to the lady that assisted me on the phone the day prior.

She informed me that she had only found out about the function the day before (the day I had called) that there would be a function taking place. I was turned away at the door.

I was give a 10% discount voucher. This was a nice gesture however my birthday has now been ruined and I doubt that I will be returning.
