****** MANAGEMENT AT HARD ROCK CAFE, MENLYN MALL, PTA

I am absolutely disappointed at the management of Hard Rock Cafe, on the 15th of September( this pasting Saturday) they hosted a woman's charity event and local bands were invited to play ( without getting paid of cause) , however after coming all the way from the South of JHB, my band and 3 other band groups were told that performances were cancelled. While a white rock band continued to play. The vocalist who sang beautiful SA inspired songs were told to tell the rest of the bands she asked to come and play, that it was cancelled. Her words were 'Guys im really really sorry the management of this place is pretty ******'

We spent 2 hours in total on the road going and coming from that place, our time was wasted and they did not have the decency to speak to us and apologize for having us travel all the way just to be told that it was cancelled. Not to forget that Awkward Times musicians are professionally trained musicians from COPA. These idiots were given a free "charity" chance of good music. They threw our act of kindness in our faces.
