Harcourt Dunn is the unprofessional agency I've ever come across!!
from letting us move into a ****roach infested place saying we couldn't view the apartment but the agent let another person view the apartment we were moving out of. I had to pay for fumigation, the apartment was filthy, I had to pay for it to be cleaned, couldn't stay in the place for a 2 months because whatever they tried to use the day we moved in made the air toxic & no one could breath in there. I am disabled the water meter would shut off & maintenance would flat out tell me they don't work weekends. There eventually was a major pip burst that I had to sit with the water meter company till 4am in the morning while Harcourt Dunn sleeps. Months later they tell me the landlord is responsible for maintenance but doesn't inform him things need to be fixed.. I eventually get hold of the landlord details and liase with his secretary directly & maintenance is sorted almost immediately. Also found out the agent **** on the entry inspection report and said I was present for the entry inspection but no entry inspection was done with me. She used images that were time stamped 3 days before I even app**** for the apartment.
Lease ends 30 June, we hand the place back in perfect condition contrary to what we got the place in. The exist report states we were held liable for nothing... It's August now and we still haven't received our deposit back. They say there accounts person is sick.. WHO'S PROBLEM IS THAT? SO HARCOURTS DUNN HAS NO BACK UP? They said send proof of account, did that... Still no payment! I'm calling for the last time tomorrow and then if there is no guarantee I get my deposit with in the next 48 hours I am reporting them to the rental tribunal.
