Disgusted

<p>I had the misfortune of visiting this dismal excuse for a restaurant today. I was with a friend and my two children. The waiter was beyond unprofessional and he did not even write down my order, which was quite specific, as my daughter has special needs and therefore is a fussy eater. We waited for almost am hour for our food and needless to say, my daughter's order was not only wrong, it was incomplete. He had forgotten to ask the kitchen for the main part of it. Whilst we were waiting, we had to call him over to wipe down our table which was filthy and grimey. He did a shoddy job, so we used my daughter's wetwipes. We were given cutlery that looked like it had not been washed properly from whomever had used it before us and when we ordered cranberry juice, our waiter brought us regular mixed berry juice. It was only upon us telling him that this was not what we ordered, that he explained that that was all they had.</p> <p>To end of a dreadful experience, they do not have a card machine. Instead there is a free standing FNB ATM next to the counter where one is expected to draw the required amount for the bill. The machine was not in working order and the waiter helping me did not seem to know of any other alternatives for payment. I then asked for the banking details for I could do an EFT from my phone and was met with a blank stare. Eventually the manager came out from the kitchen and ran upstairs to fetch me a card machine.</p> <p>At this point the family that arrived shortly after we did was now irate as their order was tkibg forever and another couple had just left their take away order, I assume out of frustration.</p> <p>The second part of my daughter's meal never arrived and I did not receive so much as an apology for the inconvenience.</p> <p>I have never received such shocking service nor have I ever been subjected to such filth in a "restaurant". I am utterly disappointed with the entire experience.</p>
