DISASTER TIME AT THE HABOUR HOUSE HOTEL IN HERM****.

Just because I booked online, we were thrown into the worst room (which we were told were timeshare rooms} Having looked at their website and seen the beauty that we saw, we chose to have a needed rest there. To our alarm, we could not spend time in the room due to the fact it was just a bed and a huge bathroom.No where to sit and relax except for an extremely large terrace shared by all, which was fine if we could have sat on it. It was full sun, some wind, so requested an umbrella to receive a rain umbrella. Then was told due to the wind they were not giving umbrellas. At the end of the day, we could not sit anywhere unless on the bed. My sadness is the fact that you are not told that that is the only room left if that was the case. You are spending money to come to a resort to rest to find the situation we were in. I would never recommend anyone to go there unless they are 100 % sure of what they are going to get. I found the breakfast poorly. So, all in all, it was not a good experience. I cut the stay short to get back home. How sad is this! OF COURSE, EVERYTHING IS BLAMED ON COVID
