TERRIBLE SERVICE

From the moment we arrived, we were told there were not enough pork ribs for both of us, and only one portion could be served. Additionally, we were informed that carrot cake was the only dessert available, yet other guests were served cheesecake with ice cream. This left us feeling misled, especially as we were using Wikideals vouchers, which now appear to restrict customers unfairly to limited options. While I appreciated the complimentary prawns, the service quickly deteriorated. My sirloin order was delayed due to a mistake by the waiter, and when my pepper sauce arrived, I was horrified to discover it contained alcohol after I tasted it twice as well as my husband. As a God-fearing Christian woman who abstains from alcohol, this was extremely offensive and distressing. The waiter later admitted the sauce was made with a double shot of Brandy. I was sickened by the taste, and my meal was ruined. At no point was I asked whether I wanted the sauce prepared with alcohol, which I believe is a basic courtesy and responsibility of your staff. Further frustrations included being unable to order a lemonade with passionfruit cordial because the manager, Temba, had left to purchase tarts due to stock shortages. I had to wait until he returned with the keys before I could even receive a simple drink. This level of disorganization is unacceptable. Overall, our special date night was ruined. The lack of menu availability, poor communication, disrespectful service, and the shocking inclusion of alcohol in my meal without consent left me disgusted. Spending money on the Wikideals voucher was not worth it, and I will also be filing a complaint with Wikideals. I expect a formal apology, assurance that corrective measures will be taken to prevent such experiences for future customers, and appropriate compensation for the money spent and the distress caused. This experience was not only disappointing but deeply disrespectful.
