Room rented out

we booked a room from 14th September 2017 to 18 September 2017 for Sanlam marathon, we checked in on the day and the following day which was Friday other team mates came through and they came to our hotel and they advised us to sleep at their place to be closer to the start of the marathon and will go back afterwards, on Sunday when we went back to the hotel our room was already rented out to other people, bear in mind we didn't check out, we had the key with us, Rhino hotel they are ****** they made more money with our money. what I'm requesting is my money back. I tried to be civil with them, called them for my refund and they keep on saying they will call me back and now they blocked my number.
