Happy Rhinos (Worst Hotel in Cape Town CBD 1790Loop Street)
Worst Valentines day by far and the most horrible disgusting experience ever.
On 11 February I booked a double room with a mountain view for me and my new fiancé and were given a room on the other side of the Hotel, room 627. After confronting the receptionist he admitted the he gave us the wrong room because someone else were in our room, although I paid for my room three days before our arrival. See confirmation number in subject line.. So upon our arrival we were told that the key system of the hotel doesn't work and that we might not be bale to open/lock the doors ourselves. First Red Flag Then the receptionist (male) told us that booking system were also not working when I requested a receipt Second Red Flag. Properly how they **** the visitors. I spend almost three hours on Valentines Day Eve with my fiance at the hotel reception trying to resolve the issue at hand only to be turned away at the end of the night. The reception told me bluntly to go and open a case at the police station and that he don't care his following instructions from Lorraine. I was given a false number for the General Manager Lorraine Munetsi who we've been trying to get through to since Valentines day. .
I took pictures of my room, I also made videos of the whole ordeal. I will post these videos and pictures on social media if I don't get a response from Happy Rhino. I will also send these to the media if I don't get a response.
Issues **** pictures on website, not the same as in real life. What you pay for is not what you will get. False adverti*****t. Rude staff None of the operating systems work in the hotel work Key system, booking system don't work. you cant lock/close your room door
