HAPPY RHINO WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! PATHETIC SERVICE AND A BUNCH OF *****

We are from Durban and last week was our first time to go to Cape Town. We searched the net for accommodation and saw the ad for Happy Rhino Hotel which looks good on the net but actually is false advertising. In reality it is the most horrible place to ever book in. they used pics online that looks attractive. They did not inform us that construction is taking place on the ad. The receptionist is of no help and has a bad attitude. She was very rude and did not take the time to see to our concern, but rather laughed at us with other guests. We asked to see a manager and that did not happen. We requested the manager to call us and still that did not happen. This place is a nightmare. It is situated in a terrible spot. We booked a Double room but when we got there that room was so small like a little bathroom size. The place was dirty and unhygienic, the room door did not have any handles, it smelt bad. We had requested another room and they did not give us unless we pay more money. We paid around R 4200 for this terrible place and got no joy out of it. Instead we had to pay another R 1200 at another hotel for accommodation. Until today we did not get any feedback from management or anyone from The happy Rhino although we was told that the manager will call us back

i will not recommend this place to anyone, not even my own enemy. STAY AWAY FROM THE HAPPY RHINO HOTEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
