Rather choose PayJustNow

Placed an order on the 7th of July, then 2day on the 10th they try to debit. I'm being told it's because my date of payment is the 10th??? lsn't this a 2 or 3 months payment plan, why would I choose to pay R500 in a period of 3 days when I need a payment plan. When I tried to pay the amount due it kept declining and as a result I was charged a penalty fee 9x by my bank. Worse service ever, I'll stick to Pay Just Now, they don't **** their customers. I won't be making this mistake again

Hi Boipelo

We would like to clarify how Happy Pay works and address your concerns regarding the payment structure:Happy Pay is a payment method selected at checkout with our partnered merchants. Based on the application you completed, your banking details were not provided. As a result, your account was approved under Happy Pay Lite. This version requires an upfront payment, after which the remaining amount is split into two instalments—as outlined in the screenshots provided.
Once you link your banking details, your account can be upgraded to the standard Happy Pay option. At that point, your affordability will be assessed to determine the credit limit that can be granted.
We would like to confirm that:
  • There has been no miscommunication regarding the requirement for upfront payment under Happy Pay Lite.
  • There has also been no miscommunication about the instalment structure that follows—two payments after the initial upfront amount.
  • When you completed your application, you declared your salary date as the 25th. Happy Pay is pay-date aligned, not monthly.

Example:
If you place an order on the 24th and your salary date is the 25th, your first instalment will be due on the 25th.We trust this clears up any confusion regarding how your payments are scheduled and your application status.Should you have any further questions or need assistance updating your banking information, please don’t hesitate to reach out.Kind regards,

BELOW IS AN EXAMPLE of the screen you have gotten before checking out

  •  Accept your purchase in the amount of ***
  •  Accept that you will pay up front in the amount of ***
  •  Accept a monthly instalment of R375. Paid over 2 salary dates which will be deducted from your submitted bank card via automatic payment with the first payment due ***. I also accept that in the event of a failed payment, we may setup a direct debit on your bank account
Kind Regards
Happy Pay Team
