Credit limit(Card linking)

I was happy with Happy Pay at first, but after linking my bank card (which currently has a negative balance), my available credit limit instantly dropped to R0. Before linking, I had a spend limit, but now I can’t use it at all. This is disappointing and confusing — there should be clear communication before changes like this happen.

The option is available online, and you have two choices for making purchases with us:

HappyPay Plus: You can link your bank account for an affordability assessment, which will determine your spend limit. With HappyPay Plus, no deposit is required, and you can make multiple purchases over time.
HappyPay Lite: This is the default purchase option. You won’t need to link a bank account, but you will need to verify your personal details with your bank. HappyPay Lite offers a minimum spend limit based on your credit score, and a deposit will be required.

Kindly note that you were on the Happy Pay lite version and due to linking your banking and not being successful with the assessment there was not limit granted to you .

However we will call you durning the course of the day and will reset your account to the Happy pay lite version again .
