HAPPY HOLIDAYS - DEPOSIT ISSUE

Had the same experience as Natalie, we booked accommodation through Happy Holiday Homes, on our arrival we reported the things that we could see not in place and took note of on our arrival, only the main bedroom was used by us although I noted the 2nd bedroom cupboard door handle was broken when opening the window for air to flow through, the bathroom door had a crack on the side which I assumed they knew about the same evening opening the cupboard in the main bedroom the knob on the door also fell off, the only other thing I was aware of is 2 or 3 small blood stains on the sheet from a cut on my foot that could easily be removed with Vanish or detergent on our return we were advised that our deposit will be withheld as there are broken knobs on the cupboard doors, the cracked bathroom door, broken shelves in the 2nd bedroom which was not even used a missing control from the 3rd bedroom also not used and a plastic bowl in the kitchen that I cannot recall seeing or using it all of this accompanied by photos as in a previous case as mentioned what I need to know is was this unit inspected properly before we moved in although we were given good service and friendlynes by the team it is a pity that small things like this put a damper on the memories you have your holiday
