Bad Service - No Exchange on damaged goods

We bought two remote controlled transformer cars from Happy Deals on their Black Friday sale for our boys for Christmas.

When we received the items we wrapped them for Christmas.

Big was their disappointment when the one car made hard clicking noises before and after it transform and it won’t move forward or backwards at all if you like to use it as a normal remote control car. And the other car won’t work at all only the head light go on and nothing happens after that.

If it was only one car that had a fault I can understand there may have been a problem but both of them...

This is the reply I got from them: Good day We sincerely apologize regarding the faulty items. However, note that as per our terms and conditions you are supposed to notify us within 7 days so we may exchange or refund you. We may not assist you now as the 7 day grace period has lapsed. Thank you
