Stay clear of Hankook tyres

Purchased a new VW T cross from Alpine Hillcrest. At 3500 km we had a tyre failure due to a tyre defect. We were left stranded as Hankook had no 215/45/18 tyres for these vehicles in the country . I have been waiting 2 months for them to replace this defective tyre without any success. I was informed today it will be at least another 6 weeks. Also the tyres had to be rotated at TWT at 5000km to stop vehicle pulling but apparently this is a common issue.
