Do not trust this man with any work.

If we could give a 0 review we would. Do not trust Leon Rudman of Handyman Home Repairs in Port Elizabeth, aka Home Repairs Handyman. He's a con-artist.

We hired him to do a small job at our home. Leon quoted and said he could start work right away the next day. Some money was paid over for materials and the following day two workers arrived with Leon and they set to work. He then brought his sister to watch-over the workers which we thought was strange as we were home and his sister clearly has no experience either. We think this was just a ploy so that his staff couldn't rat him out!

He then asked for more money, which we gave him, to buy a special type of sealant and paint for the wall as he didn't have the particular colour we wanted. He also blames the weather for him time constraints (all of our work was done on a sunny day with a light breeze but according to him the weather was bad).

On the third-day we realised that Leon Rudman doesn't have the experience needed to do the work we hired him for. He talks the talk but can't walk the walk!

We then asked for all the material we'd paid upfront for and said we'd get someone else to complete the job. And that's when one excuse after the other would roll in.

He used interior plaster for an exterior wall, which started peeling off the wall almost as soon as it was dry. He blamed his supplier for selling him a product which was past its expiry date.

To date we're out of pocket R7,500 and have no material. Do not trust Leon Rudman.
