Unreliable, unavailable and unprofessional!!!! Disappeared with my deposit and no work done..

Very disappointed! Don’t hire unless you plan to lose money!

Darryl, from Hammer it handyman services had done some work in our complex , Villa Roseto, in Sunninghill. The job he did was reasonable. I offered him some work to tile my patio.

He seemed quite eager, and sent me quotes and kept on emailing me to see my interest . I gave him the go ahead and paid him a 70% deposit on the 6th of November. He said the job would take two days and came the following week to take up the old tiles.

Since then, he has done no further work.

He does not answer his phone, does not respond to emails, and I last heard from him by sms weeks ago. He had given me new deadlines as to when he would complete the work. To this date, nothing has been done.

I have requested a refund on my deposit but have not hear from him since.

I am not in the position that I have lost my deposit which I will likely not see again. My old tiles are destroyed so I have to hire someone else to finish the job.

This has been a bitter experience.

They have been unprofessional, unreliable and dishonest.
