Poor review of Hamlyes Toys selling defective toys

On or about 17h00 p.m. 2nd April 2017, a young boy brought back to your Hamleys Menlyn Store a fluster cube item in its original box, of which was faulty and damaged, which was purchased the day before.

Hamleys staff refused to accept the product or replace the said product indicating there was no proof of the product been purchased from their store.

Accordingly Management refused to step outside and take responsibility or even talk to the young boy

tEh young boy and his father indicated to Hamleys staff the damaged item in its original box. The box clearly marked the name of Hamleys store. The staff accepted and agreed the box belonging to them, but still refusing to replace the damaged item.

At this point teh father requested for Management to come out again, so that he may discuss the damaged item.

Management did eventually arrive only to submit to the same response as the Hamleys staff.

in his anger the fatherleft behind with Management the damaged toy not wanting anything to do with defective toys sold by Hamleys and due to the lack of initiative and interest with Hamleys Staff to honour its obligations.

Hamleys store have a reputation of selling qualities toys.

This is certainly not an indication of quality or effective means of resolving disputes.

I cannot condone such behavior, and/or the treatment.

Hamleys should rethink selling defective toys or submit the staff for more effective people skils
