Unengaged Agent

<p>We receintly vacated a house at Lakeside that we have been renting for just over a year.</p> <p> </p> <p>When I queried our deposit refund with the agent Debbie I was told that the stoeve needs to be repaired from our deposit as a seal on the stove is boken and the inner glaas door has partially come loose.</p> <p> </p> <p>I then asked Debbie how we can be charged for wear and tare on a stove as the sealsdo perish over time.</p> <p> </p> <p>Debbie then told me that she will send my message to the owners. I have asked Debbie as the agent and the mediator for both parties involved for her incident report, that she was there to invetigate and to prove that the stove was malicioulsy damanged, which she has not provided as yet.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am extemely disatisfied that we the tennants can be charged to replace worn seals on a stove, especially one as old as the one that was in the rental unit.</p> <p> </p> <p>Debbie is not a very pro-active person as an agent, as the mediatior she should have played an active role in ensuring the best outcome for both parties and provided proof that we purposefully damaged the stove.</p> <p> </p> <p>I feel that het biggest concern is that she gets her money out of the deal and the rest is up to the tennants and the owners.</p>
