Terrible service rendered leaves me with no runnin

So I finally decided this would be the perfect time for me to share my horrible experience with Ford in kuilsriver opposite Zewenwacht. I own a 2010 Ford figo tdci ambiente. 22 July 2022 I requested a quote for them to replace numerous parts on the vehicle and my main issue was an oil leak I suspected was coming from the top(head), I was uncertain at the time but as mentioned, I suspected that was where it was coming from. I also informed their Rep that they should check what else needs to be done on the vehicle as it was due a major service and most of the parts were already worn. Mind you, the car was still driving perfectly fine. The leak was small but if unattended to I knew it would lead to a possible bigger issue. I had no issues whatsoever and simply just wanted to improve my driving experience, considering the vehicles age and the fact that I wanted to get the most out of it by ensuring all the working parts needed for the vehicle to drive efficiently is in good working order. No need for it to feel like you're driving an older vehicle. That was my thought. The price for everything I asked , including what they specified was needed came to about just over R30k. I said it was too steep and they managed to make an "adjustment" and bring the price down to R26k. Cool, all was good, payment was made. They did the work some time in early August. Vehicle was there for 2 or 3 days, can't quite remember but I know it was there for more than 1 day. After getting the vehicle first thing I noticed was the sound was different in the ****pit. It made a hissing sound when I accelerated. The best way to describe it is, it sounded like a spray bottle when I accelerate, along with the engines sound it was unusual. I thought nothing of it because I could feel some pleasing differences. The following day when I started the car (cold idle) , it made a squeaky sound and then eventually the sound died down the longer the vehicle idled. I sent this info to the rep/sales person who assisted me and he recommended I bring the vehicle in again for their technician/specialist who worked on the vehicle to check. I booked a day off work to do that and let them know that I'll be staying the entire day until the issue is fixed. If I remember correctly I took the vehicle in before 8 and I left there after 2 pm. I heard them Rev the vehicle in the work bay, not sure what they were checking. They failed to consider the 'cold idle' issue I mentioned with the squeaky noise. The time they got the vehicle, the engine was already driven warm. So obviously there wouldn't be a squeaky sound. I drove the vehicle to work daily and gave it about a week before I checked under the hood of the car. To my surprise, the oil leak wasn't gone but instead got worse from what I saw. The left side of the engine bay was full of oil as if it was sprayed somehow against the ends of the bay. The ****pit had a weird smell when I put the aircon on and without the aircon it smelt of warm oil or smoke, I can't really describe it. I sent the rep an email with my concerns and sent a video with images over whatsapp. He said he'd send it to the manager/managers of the place to sort it out but, believe it or not, to date not a single email or call from them. The way I took it, I couldn't afford another day off, and how do I trust these individuals with my vehicle if after the second time I took in, it came out worse?! I told the rep I wouldn't put myself through that again and I expected them to make a plan to get the vehicle there. There was no response for about a week or 2 if I recall correctly. I sent another email, this time threatening with lawyers. I let emotions take over because the dissapointment was difficult to bare and I couldn't fathom why i'm victome to this service. I worked hard for that money and disciplined myself to save up until o could get the things done that needed to be done. I atleast deserved quality work for the price I paid. Anyone does. Also, I shouldn't have to go out of my way AGAIN to get the vehicle to them if it's THEIR mess. I shouldn't lose another days work and money that goes to my family, for THEIR mess. The rep responded and said he'd forward the email to the workshop manager and whoever else needed to see it. Guess what? No response, no call, no email to date. Sad isn't it? I'm sure Henry would be appalled if he knew his company that bares his last name was causing people this much grief and not treating some of them with the service and care that a company with a reputation such as theirs should. I had no choice but to drive the vehicle as is to work and back. I had no other form of transport and I paid for what was needed, the vehicle had to work for me at least somehow. Fast forward to date, the vehicle is currently not driving. It happened one afternoon driving home from work. I was driving as usual, and mind you, I don't even drive this car hard, or rather I didn't, I wanted to get the most out of it without destroying what was already not done properly. By this time the vehicle had spat oil like a leaking tap and the engine bay looked horrific, still does. I tried cleaning it and maintaining it somehow, but a man can only do that much. Also by this time the vehicle had a tendency of going into a sort of limp mode if it doesn't idle for more than 5-10 minutes before being driven; the ****pit still smelt very weird like hot car oil at times on the warmer days and before leaving for work I'd have to pour luke warm water over the wind shield because the aircon/heater was useless, but they replaced a part linked to that. Anyway, back to the afternoon on my way home, I heard a ting sound and then I had nothing on the accelorater. I moved to the side of the road, the vehicle still idled and I tried revving but, nothing happened. Switched the vehicle off and tried switching it on again but all it did was crank. I recently had someone check the car out, a friend, just to tell me if I'm maybe missing something, he's unable to help unfortunately. I asked him to check the air filter for me because I know a vehicle, especially diesel needs good air circulation. This filter look like it was drenched in oil. I'm not sure if it's this splatter that caused it somehow, but I know a filter doesn't look like that. I also changed that filter last year before they worked on the car. To conclude, I'm left with a car that is idle but can't start or idle, what an irony. I know it's their workmanship that started this, I'm positive it is. It took me a while before I decided to come here to just vent my feelings and share my ****py experience. I regret not doing this sooner. I feel as a working person, who saved up to get this work done, I deserve some justice and for this to be made right somehow. How that'll happen? No clue. All I know is, this isn't how a client should be treated, no matter how big the company's reputation.
