Be careful of being promised a refund!

I purchased a car from this dealership and asked for my personalised plate to be transferred to my new car. I waited until the temporary plate had expired and then asked about my plates. I few days later I was told that my plates were ready. When I went to fetch my plates, it wasn't exactly the same as my old one. I was told that they would have new plates made for me and it would be dropped off. A day or so later I was told that they was no stock on the plates from the supplier. I was given the option to make the plates myself and they would refund me, which I did. It's been nearly a month now and I still haven't been refunded. I was told that payments takes time. The last time I asked, the salesman just read my message and didn't even reply. This is not a big amount but I would just like to give people the heads up. These people give you excellent customer service to get the sale and then after sale customer care is non existent.
