HALBE PROPERTIES CAN I PLEASE GET MY MONEY BACK

Halbe propeties posted the flats/rooms for rental at nellmaphius and the agent was Salome Dipela, i called her and she gave me the number for kabelo bokaba, of which i can call, went to view then paid rental and the deposit, but i realised that the place is not right for my children as, the outside of the place is so slipery when it rains, and the stairs are covered with metal and my child fell there and got hurt, so i told Kabelo that i cannot sign the lease agreement, i am actually moving out and give him month notice. the guys refuses to pay my deposit , he keeps on lying that he paid the money but its not reflecting in my account. he ignores my massages and calls and Salome now washes hands saying that she was not part of it, and i never told her that she actually moved in, why was i suppose to tell her of which she is the agent appointed my Halbe to deal with the rentals. i dont know how this rentals works and not my field.
