I had a bad experience today with the Halaal Goods Market security. We (two females and a teenager) were at the fun park at Mall of Africa where the Halaal Goods Market was hosted, the area was not enclosed to show that we cant walk through the fun park to get to the rides area. We were sitting on the benches ,we did not buy the halaal ticket because we thought the gate on the left is the one to use to get to the rides, so we were taking a breather on the benches before going to the rides. The Halaal Goods Market security approached us aggressively telling us to leave the fun park because we did not buy a ticket, so I told him that we are on our way to the rides, should we buy a ticket for the Halaal market in order to get to the rides, he did not give us a responds. He then grabbed me roughly to stand up and leave the fun park, he pulled my arm as well to show he's directing me to the gate of the fun park. I can still feel the pain from how he grabbed me on my back. I felt violated as a black women, being handled roughly by a big male. The fun park was full of indian people, he directly attacked us because we were two black females. He wouldn't have done this to other races be it they did not also buy the ticket. Organisations need to be sure to hire professional security companies, not ones that will act out of ************** of colour or gender. I am disappointed in Halaal Goods Market.
