You’ve lost a regular customer

An unpleasant experience of subtle ******. NEVER setting foot in this store again! I was a regular customer and would come here almost on a weekly basis. With each visit, I was followed like a hawk, as if my skin colour already determined that I’m a *****. Today, I came to return/exchange an item with the receipt in hand- I had bought the wrong item by mistake. The ladies started to skinner in Afrikaans (especially the older lady- in a confrontational tone) and then I was told that they will not take back the item as it has been used. Mind you, I bought the item in the condition that I returned it- it had been sampled by someone in the shop before I purchased it. They were rude and did not even bother to listen to my frustrations. I am so deeply disappointed with the treatment I received today and best believe I will not be supporting this business again.
