Don’t buy Saaima Still Silencers - Not Fit for Purpose

I would like to give them a 0 out of 5 rating but that option was not available- poor service, product not not fit for purpose. DONT BUY SAAIMA STILL Silencers.

I bought a Saimaa Still silencer for my AR15 from Hailstorm - this was on the recommendation of Hailstorm who market themselves as specialist in the industry and products that are fit for purpose - http://hailstormza.3dcartstores.com/About-Us_ep_7.html

The Saimaa Still Silencer that I bought was in the region of R10000. Made of Titanium and Stainless Steel and being able to withstand high heat. I took it to the range - after around 60 rounds the silencer melted.

The owner of Hailstorm indicated that I had abused the silencer and that he would not replace it. I have also received no response from Hailstorm or the supplier of Saaima Still silencers.

From this poor experience I would not recommend buying this silencer and further I will no longer shop at Hailstorm due to this matter not be dealt with in manner it should have and secondly for this product not being fit for purpose.

I would however fully recommend Gun Warrior Silencers that are in the region of R 2500 - I put 100 rounds through the silencer- it contained the sound much better and did not melt.
