Hahn Debt Collectors is law unto themselves

This company keeps harassing me over two decades for a TV license. You never get through to them. I fought a garnish on my salary that I never knew where it came from a decade ago I suspect them. I bought a TV in 1997 when I started working, it got destroyed by a electricity mulfunction. SABC kept following me until I wise up, wrote to them. They forwarded me a cancelation form to take to police station for affidavit and sent them. About 5 years down the line Hahn keeps surfacing with R12000 of debt. I got them that time about 10 years back, explained to them that I need a statement of this account so I takevit to SABC again. They kept quiet for over a decade. In 2025 they came back with texts to harass me again. Miraculously, the debt is still R1200. I do not know where they keep getting these amounts. I am not even on Multicbkice because I have a personal reason why I never bought TV again. That they can easily follow up because even if I change my numbers they keep finding them somehow. I feel that I am being de*****ed by faceless people whose calls you hold indefinitely and it costs money. Emails do not go through and you can't respond to their texts. There is no way I can be indebted to SABC for the rest of my life for over two decades and one company keeps disappearing and springing up again. It means these people will follow me to pension and claim a payment. I do not trust law firm because of the way they conduct their business with lawlessness. It is 28 years now, whether you sort it out with client SABC they still follow you up for nothing with no necessary documents. That is suspicious to me as well as harassment. N Matyumza
