Collections Without Investigation
⭐☆☆☆☆
My experience with this collections agency has been nothing short of absurd.
Before the account was even properly discussed, I spent over 15 minutes trying to explain a simple email and supporting documentation to their representatives. Basic facts that were clearly set out in writing had to be repeated multiple times, yet the information seemed to go completely unprocessed.
What is most concerning is that this agency continues to send legal threats and collection demands regarding an account that has already been disputed and for which documentary evidence has been provided. Rather than reviewing the evidence and investigating the matter properly, the approach appears to be to continue threatening the consumer and hoping they eventually pay.
It is deeply troubling that an organisation entrusted with sensitive personal information can be so careless when handling disputes. If you are going to threaten legal action, the least you can do is ensure that the debt actually exists and that the supporting evidence has been reviewed by someone competent enough to understand it.
The entire experience has felt less like a professional debt recovery process and more like an automated ************ campaign. Repeated threats, poor communication, failure to understand straightforward correspondence, and an apparent unwillingness to acknowledge documented facts have completely destroyed any confidence I might have had in this organisation.
If this is how disputed accounts are handled, I would strongly advise consumers to keep meticulous records of every interaction and demand that all communication be conducted in writing.
A collections agency should investigate first and threaten later. Unfortunately, my experience has been the exact opposite.
