Heine Vergottini (H & R Car Wholesalers)

Bought a VW Polo 2014 Comfortline through Heine Vergottini in November 2023 through Bank Financed. He used to have a garage in Krauze Street Bloemfontein. Car was delivered the 24th of November 2023. The Monday the 27th of November 2023 we called Heine saying there is a sound on the wheels. He said it can't be as the car went for roadworthy. We went to Bloemfontein in February 2024 to get the rest of our furniture as we moved to Hoopstad. The Sunday the 4th of Feb 2024 we drove back to Hoopstad. On our way back to Hoopstad my car cut off, the fuel pipe on the tank came loose. I needed to call my husband as he was driving in front of me to turn around and come help me. He fixed it next to the road. He decided to drive behind me so that he can make sure i get to Hoopstad. While he was driving behind me, he saw that the car is skewed. He could actually see my front tyres while i was driving straight. The Monday the 5th of Feb 2024 i contacted Heine and Johan (Heine told us he is the guy from the bank when we needed to sign the contract) and told them what happened. After many discussion i needed to take the car back to Bloemfontein the Wednesday the 7th of Feb 2024. Before we went to the mechanic (the one Heine told us to go to) we decided to go to a Tyre place to check wheel alignment. There we found out that my left back wheel was 18mm out than it supposed to be, the left front wheel bearing was also ceased. We went to the mechanic and he told us he doesn't know what to tell us and that we need to take the car to a Tyre place. Suprise, we have done that before we went to him. Alot of phone calls to Heine and Johan that day. I decided to take the car for a AA report the Thursday the 8th of Feb 2024. There it came to our attention that the wheels and body doesn't align with manufacturing standards. The radiator is loose and there are a error code on the airbags on both of the front seats. They wanted me to drive with my little girl back to Hoopstad with the car till they sort something out. The guy at Dekra told me to stop the car and not drive any further with the car. Left the car in Bloemfontein and went back to Hoopstad. Then all the fighting starts. I mailed the Bank, Heine and Johan with the Dekra Report the Thursday afternoon on the 8th of Feb 2024. Then they wanted to make it my fault. Even said that didn't I drove 180km over a pothole. The Polo wouldnt even make to 180... So, I needed to show them I'm innocent. Then i started digging..... Johan Taljaard was a employee of Preller Pre owned motors and not the guy from the bank like Heine told us. The car was in a accident and bought by Outsurance. The car had 85k worth of damage. The previous owner bought the car from Outsurance. The car is not roadworthy as per the Traffic department system. Send through all paperwork and photos through to the bank. The bank forwarded all documentation to the dealer. Heine has done our financing through Preller Pre owned as he can't do any financing by himself anymore..... Wonder why?? He is running away now saying he doesn't have money to pay the bank back. But he can drive a double cab Ford Ranger worth 500k + ...... not on his name.... i think people have warned him they will take his stuff because he made sure not to put it on his name... Leaving Johan to sort out the mess he has put everyone in. We did call for upliftment but dealer not coming to the party, they are trying to retail themselves out of the vehicle to minimize their loss, also not taking our calls, playing for time. I need to pay for a car i don't have. This is going on for 3 months now. I'm losing income as i don't have a car. Think twice before you do business with Heine Vergottini. He has put my life and my kids life in danger with a car that's not even roadworthy and he knew it the day he delivered the vehicle. Still he advertises on Facebook.
