Totally disgraced by the Gym Company and what it stands for.....

Well where shall I begin. I used to belong to Glenvista Health and Fitness . Then the gym decided to close their doors and relocate and amalgamate with the Gym Company, without notifying us of their said decision. And due to my transport arrangement and work location, to go to their other branches was just inconvenient and completely out of the way, which would have resulted to more expenses and unwanted inconveniences, etc. I then tried to arrange to cancel the contract, because 1. I don't have a gym that was affordable and convenient enough for me to go anymore and 2. Having to deal with their admin department was a nightmare as well.

On a few occasions I tried making arrangements to settle the cancellation amount in a few payments and Yodel still hasn't come back to me till this day. Then a few months later, i got an opportunity to change jobs and ofcourse it was conveniently located closer to the gym company in Alberton. Now, I thought at this stage this would be a perfect opportunity to maybe see what the gym was like and make use of the opportunity that presented itself and start my gym routine again. I then made arrangements to settle what ever arrear amounts I have, brought that up to date and my account was in great shape again. Just one problem though. My access tag that was issued has not worked from the day i started at Gym Company Alberton until now.

The excuses they came up with were as follows:

- The integration of the Glenvista Fitness Centre to Gym company hasn't been finalised as yet. - They had my old tag registered instead of the new tag. - They are experiencing problems with their system. And the excuses have repeated over and over and over......

And having said this, if it was their system, why is it that people that enter the gym just before I do or come in just after I do have working tags? Yet, mine still does not work.

I have had it ...... This has to stop now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am beginning to think that I am being discriminated against.

Perhaps because of my obesity, or is it my ***ual orientation or is because I am white???

I am not ******, but if the above is true then I am very sad as to what even gyms have now become.
