Played by the gym

I was bombarded by agents of gym company a few months ago. They told me about starting a membership with them and I told them I wasn't interested because both my parents don't have jobs, I am a first year student and I can't afford joining the gym. They insisted that I give them my details so they could contact me incase the situation changed and I want to join. I naively trusted them and gave them my details. A few months went by and they started taking money out of my account. I stopped the transaction and then I got a call from them. I explained my situation and told them that I didn't want the membership and that they should cancel it. The lady refused and said I have to go to the branch that I started the membership. I told her that I have no idea which branch is, she told me that it is the Newton gym company which is very far from where I live. I have no transport to go to the gym and cancel the membership but they refuse to help me instead they want me to settle my debts and continue *****ing my money. These guys should not be allowed to approach people at the mall. If someone wants a membership they will go to the gym and get one.
