No Membership

In DECEMBER 2015 I filled out an application for The Gym Company and was advised I would receive the membership card within 2 weeks. I was not given a copy of the contract or shown the gym. My account was debited on 30 January 2016 and I reversed the transaction as I still did not receive the membership card or the contract as promised. I have not used the facilities and yet today a Betsy from The Gym Company called and wouldn't listen to my side of the story. If I am blacklisted I will sue. I know I signed the application but I've just been told the application and contract are one in the same. My ID number is ***.
