NO BRANCH IN CAPE TOWN, FORCED TO WITHDRAW/CANCEL CONTRACT.????????

I have been trying to cancel the contract as I am relocating to another Province. When asked if there is a branch in Cape Town, Was told no and the gym company has no intention of opening a branch there. Due to the fact that the gym company cannot accommodate the request, I was told that a cancelation fee has to be paid. With all due respect, I do believe that if the gym company are unable to assist my request, the signed contract should become null and void. At the time of opening the contract, I was told that the gym company is nationwide and that I can go to any branch. Hello, THERE IS NO BRANCH IN CAPE TOWN, so the only right thing to do is for the The Gym Company, Florida, Roodepoort is to cancel the contract with immediate effect. I will not pay any fees for this cancelation. I told them that I can send an agreement confirmation of the new job. What else do you want for proof that I am relocating. I will not be returning to JHB. And the contract cannot be transferred to another person after a 3 month freeze period.
