MISLEAD,MISREPRESENTATION CANCELLATION OF UN-UNSED SERVICE

good day

i have tried to cancel my gym company membership last year around october when i went to pay. the lady neo told me that i have to pay the money of the 1300 if i want to cancel it because it is an contract told her that firstly when they sold me the the membership did not tell me its an contract and they know that am i student i would have not agreed to join it if i knew its an contract the guy who sold me the membership mislead me and di not tell that is it is an contract...how can i pay for something that i have not been using a gym is suppose to be able to pay when uu used it not to pay for the months you are not using it. it must be a persons will to go to gym everyday. since i have been not been going tomgym for three months they want me to pay. what should i pay for, a service that i did not use. i did try to cancel my contract face to face but i was not able to because they needed a prepaid amount for the up coming months. i am student i dont have an income even my contract tells that am a student. gym company mislead and misrepresent their offers to their customers.i want to cancel this membership because i have not been using it.
