Misleading/ Unprofessional Gym Company East Rand Mall

I walked into the Gym Company (East Rand Mall) to have a look around/ facilties/ compare prices. A Salesman approached me, and I told him that I had to still speak to my wife/ decide. He said that I can still go ahead and sign up, and I have a 1 month "Cooling period" in which I can request cancelation if my wife did not agree. 2 weeks later, I logged a request online to cancel, and was under the impression that it is now canceled.

A month later I am receiving texts/ emails indicating that I'm in arrears.

The Saleman/ Sales Manager were completely misleading and dishonest.

@gymcompany, I need this canceled immediately with a closure letter sent to me.
