making me sign a contract without my consent

I recently joined the company with the gym company and and it was all great and all, but little did I know that I signed a contract from hell. I went to the customer service and told me that if I wanted to cancel my contract o would have to pay R1500?. Then I found out that they were making me sign a contract of 36 months and they said if I didn't pay that money they would blacklist me. Why was I not told all of this before? If they had told me all of this then I wouldn't have joined the gym. The sakes rep make people join with out letting them know. I sm a student and currently studying part time and have no solid income. This feels like a **** I haven't even started my life as woker or bring someones employee but I'm already put into debt. This is all on the gym because they didn't tell me all of this. <br> <br> I sent them an email last week and they have not responded so I guess they did not care to answer. I am angry and fed up, I need to leave or get out of this contract as I am a student and have no source of solid income. I am so scared of debt and sad.
