******** GYM MEMBERSHIP FOR MINORS

it is with frustration, and utter desperation that i make contact with you to try and resolve the harassment I have received from your collections department.

On the 17th April, 2023, my two daughters Jemma and Erin Chislett joined a friend of theirs at your virgin active gym at Dainfern Square.

I used to be a member there 7 years ago before leaving to live abroad. Since this time i have not set foot in this gym or any other.

Dealing with my mother who was terminal with cancer, her final days and being unable to move from her bedside my daughter joined a friend to attend gym. On arrival at the gym the admission lady wanted an indemnity document signed as there were minors attending the gym. With me unable to leave my mothers side my daughter sent me the indemnity via whataspp (which i have attached) to sign.

This was signed twice, once for each child, The admission person was unhappy with the validity or quality of the signature so my daughter Erin, drove the golf cart back to the estate for me to sign a hard copy. Access was to be paid via the childrens bank cards for day visitor entry.

This is where things have become *****ulent and unsavoury to say the least.

Since this one visit to your Dainfern Gym on the 17th April, 2023, I received a bank debit order for gym membership for my children which I declined via my banking institution.

Since this reversal of bank debit order I am now being harassed for payment for gym membership opened for my twin daughters then aged 16 years old.

Countless calls to the gym and collections staff has yielded more frustration where I have been told to come into the gym to resolve.

The person who signed these said “*****ulent” contracts was a Mr John Mogale who no longer works for you. I did request proof of where i signed these contracts and nothing has been forthcoming.I have been met with abuse and distain from call centre staff who have been unwilling to assist and keep telling me to go to the Dainfern Square Gym and make contact with Mr John Mogale who no longer works for your organisation.

I am now at a point where I want to go onto social media and make a stance against the blatant *****, and mismanagement of the power of under age children.

I have at no point signed any contracts for my daughters. I signed an indemnity for access only.

All my details including my discovery memberhisp details and vitality details are on your system.

Since this drama of dealing with my mother’s graphic sickness and subsequent demise I am not in a position to debate any issues with anyone from the Dainfern Square Branch. I have never signed contracts for my children and have not set foot in that gym for 7 years.

Out of desperation recently a Mr Lesgo Bloem of the Vigin Active Dainfern Square assisted by hearing my story and giving me your contact details. If not for his care in what has happened I would be no closer to solving this issue.

Please can you investigate, even pull surveillance footage to prove i was never at the gym on the 17th April to sign any contacts or institute any memberships for my children.
