Gym company was to supposed to stop debits but didn't

It was in the news that all gyms if not most will not debut us for the month of April and until we are able to go back to the gyms. But i was debited and my freinds were debited. Then they gave a shady excuse... this isn't right. My account is overdrawn because of them.
