Gym company still been debiting me for 39 months after notification and cancellation

Gym company has been debiting me *********ly after I asked to cancel earlier. It's now 39 months debit and it has not stopped after notifying them of my intention to cancel. The manager practically walked me out when I went to lodge a complaint asking me to go get a lawyer. They have refused to stop debiting my account even after the end of my contact.

I remember sending a mail to Steve to stop the debits and he sent a figure I couldn't understand as the termination fee. I simply opted for the contract to run its course instead of paying into an account I couldn't trace. Also, a lady Nabewiya contacted me and present an even larger amount to terminate my contact. I also opted to let the contract run its course. Even after the end of the contract, I am still being charged by Gym company.

For prospectives, I'll say look elsewhere and make sure someone else does not sell you a ****. In my case, it was the guy that registered me that simply told me I could cancel when I wanted to without charges. The same guy is nowhere to be found.
