Gym company Eastrand mall are *******!!!

First of all what a disgusting company that thrives on robbing people. I have never signed up at this gym but someone I knew wrote me down on their contract as a family member (keep in mind this person has no relation to me). The person apparently has a month to month contract with this gym but for some reasons they have been deducting from my account for 7 months now. I have gone to my bank to ask them to stop this gym from deducting from my account which they did but they gym overrides that stop order & I end up not only paying R199 but an additional R50 every month for something I am not even a part of. I contacted the gym to ask them to stop deducting from my account as no consent was given to the person who has a membership with them to use my banking information & I also mentioned that I had not signed anywhere on their contract nor was I related to the said person. Did this ridiculous account lady at this gym not tell me they won’t stop deducting from my account & she sent me the person contact which doesn’t show my signature anywhere just the persons information & my name & banking details under next of kin. This is the worst place!!!! How do they not verify their customer details prior to giving out memberships. How could they blatantly ignore the obvious fact that their customers surname & mine weren’t a match & lastly why authorise such without having signatures!!!! Why ignore that the banking details were not the person getting the membership details!!!!! Why!!! They have been *****ing from me for months & I am enough!!!! Why not freeze the persons membership to investigate the complaint!!!! They just told me well ma’am too bad but we can’t do anything about it & we are going to continue to ***** your money 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Gym company eastrand mall are ******* !!!
